My Pink Valentine 2012Over the last 2 years, Pink Door’s “My Pink Valentine” event has been one of Pink Door’s most popular fundraisers to date. Starting in 2009, Pink Door’s Board Member Laura LaRue with the help of a great team helped coordinate and auction off dates with Houston’s top local celebrities including Michael Chabala from the Houston Dynamo and Miya Shay from Houston’s ABC Channel 13. Each year, Pink Door’s “My Pink Valetine” has raised over $10,000 towards Pink Door’s programs. In 2012 Pink Door is partnering with Rotary Club of Houston Skyline for “My Pink Valentine” at 7 p.m. Thursday, February 9 at Roak on Kirby. "My Pink Valentine" not only features a singles auction with some of Houston's most eligible bachelors and bachelorettes, but we've also added experience packages that include everything from lunch with Joanne King Herring, to a behind-the-scenes tour of the State Capitol with Rep. Sarah Davis... even the opportunity to have a service project done at your own home, business or nonprofit! Single or spoken for, we will see you there!
