Regular mamograms are highly recommended for women over 20 years of age, but extra vigilance is extremely helpful in identifying possible tumors. This resource gives detailed instructions for conducting breast checks on your own. While it's no substitute for a mamogram by a medical professional, it's an excellent supplement.
