There is nothing more important in preventing cancer than starting with you. Many of us have a habit of not taking into account what foods we eat, what we drink, the vitamins we take every-day. Keep in mind, your body is like a machine ~ one that needs to be well oiled and maintained to stay healthy and live a long life. By eating organically, not only are you reducing your intact of genetically modified foods and ingredients (GMO’s), but you are offering your body foods that are fresh and provide you with the vitamins your body needs to continue its course to a healthy lifestyle.

From my experience, you cannot preach to others what you do not practice yourself. Therefore, utilizing myself as a guinea pig, I took the liberty to eat organically while also reducing my intake of meats such as beef and chicken. Surprisingly, I not only felt better and more energetic, but I also lost weight, my blood pressure lowered, had a much more calm peace of mind in eating the right foods, and saved money. That’s right!: Even SAVED money! It was not easy at first as it took my diligence in clipping coupons, checking Whole Foods/HEB Central Market sales, and visiting manufacturers’ sites to find even more money saving coupons. However, I’m excited to share that every bit of my hard work was worth it! Take the time, clip your coupons, eat organically and give yourself the opportunity to not only prevent cancer, but keep your machine going with a happy and healthy lifestyle for years to come!

My Best,
Cortney A. Cole
